The short version: By using ScheduleScan you agree to these Terms. Always review extracted events before pushing them to your calendar — AI is not perfect. We are not liable for incorrect dates, missed events, or consequences arising from inaccurate extraction. Do not misuse the Service.
By accessing or using ScheduleScan ("the Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Keith Lee ("Operator", "we", "us", "our"), a person based in Singapore operating the Service. These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
ScheduleScan is an AI-powered web application that extracts scheduled events from user-uploaded documents and transfers them to a connected Google Calendar account. The Service uses artificial intelligence provided by Anthropic to interpret dates, times, venues, and event details from uploaded files.
The Service currently supports the following file formats: PDF, Microsoft Word (.docx), Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), CSV, plain text, and image files (PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, WEBP).
The use of artificial intelligence in the Service means that event extraction is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or error-free. By using the Service, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:
The Operator expressly disclaims all responsibility for any consequences arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or erroneous event extraction, including but not limited to missed appointments, scheduling conflicts, or business losses.
To use the calendar push functionality, you must authenticate via Google Sign-In and grant ScheduleScan permission to create events in your Google Calendar. By granting this permission, you acknowledge that:
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
You retain full ownership of all files you upload to the Service. By uploading a file, you grant the Operator a limited, temporary, non-exclusive licence to process that file for the sole purpose of extracting calendar event information on your behalf. This licence terminates immediately upon completion of processing.
You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload and process any file you submit to the Service, and that doing so does not violate any law, regulation, or third party rights.
You acknowledge that files containing sensitive personal data of third parties — including but not limited to employee schedules, client information, or medical records — are subject to applicable data protection laws, and that you remain responsible for compliance with those laws when uploading such files to the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Singapore law, the Operator shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
The Operator's total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to the Operator in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or SGD $50, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Singapore law.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
The Operator does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and all related materials, is owned by the Operator and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws in Singapore and internationally. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without prior written permission from the Operator.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. Your right to use the Service is a limited, personal, non-transferable licence that may be revoked at any time.
ScheduleScan is currently in beta testing. This means:
The Operator reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately and without notice if the Operator reasonably believes you have violated these Terms or are using the Service in a manner that is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties.
You may discontinue use of the Service at any time. To revoke Google Calendar access, visit myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall do so, including but not limited to Sections 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 13.
The Operator may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. For material changes, the Operator will provide reasonable notice where contact information is available. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms.
These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
Before commencing any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Operator at the address below and allowing 30 days for a response.
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Operator regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations relating to the subject matter.
